Alright my icon file for my mob for my game takes up 2 32x23 and one icon is the head and part of the body the other is the bottom.. Is it possible to put both together and use it as a mob in my game? if so How would it be done?
If you for example have a head and a body, and the head is purely there to display a icon, it's very important that it doesnt have any other function besides that!
In that case you might beable to use images.

Example:

mob
icon = 'character.dmi'
icon_state = "body"
New()
..()
var/image/i = image(src.icon,src,"head")
i.pixel_y += 32
world << i


I didnt test it right now but I think this should also update the icons direction.

What about icons that take up more than 2 spaces(say, 8)?

Try increase pixel_y.

Its supposed to have a 32 limit, but I bet you'll notice something interesting.
