Ok well i have hosted before my own games.
But i have made a Naruto game everything is good.
when i host it it goes to the hub and all but when the box pops up and its connecting and all it wont connect it just says "CONNECTION FAILED" and i have opened my port and all that and theres no errors in the coding.
i even double checked my ports and i made two ports but they both do the same thing.
~~thanks for your time~~
Are you trying to connect to it from the hub? And what version of BYOND are you using?

I'm thinking he used BYOND 4.0, due to the Options and Messages box popping up... Unless you mean what build from a private version.

I'm a little new to portforwarding myself, but I can have one port, 2479, and when I try opening another one, it says "Dream Daemon FAILED to open [insert number here]!" Dunno why, but it seems like it is stickied to 2479, whether it's open or not.

He didn't sy Options and Messages, his 'box popping up' could just refer to the 3.5 Dream Seeker. Box isn't a very useful term.

If he's joining through the hub, that's his problem. He's trying to connect to his own external IP address. On a network, that's a waste of time, because the network doesn't know the IP Address.

He should just join via "Open Location" in the pager by typing "localhost:port".

Well I think of a box more like a small window, such as an alert or something. DreamSeeker's window would be bigger, so I'd call it a window. Dunno how to categorize your windows, but anyways...

My original dream seeker windows for 3.5 were no larger than Options and Messages is now by default. I don't like large boxes appearing on my monitor unless I'm using them flat out, I could just join and play later.

As I said 'box' could mean a lot of things.

Good, you answered one of my questions, how about the other?

How are you trying to join? Through the hub? The pager via "Open Location", Dream Daemon's join button or the Pager via "Watched Games"?
In response to Tiberath

See, now you're onto something. That's when you do a forum search to see if the symptoms you've explained there have been brought up before. If they haven't, shoot on off to the Bug Reports forum and fill out the template ENTIRELY.
