Showing Gif images in your game.

How can I do this? obviously I am doing it wrong cause they won't show up.
    rvan
        icon = 'image/rvan.gif'
        name = ""
        layer = MOB_LAYER + 5

I have them in a folder called image.
They do not show up through dream daemon,
but only show up through hosting using compile & run.
The problem is only I can see them and other players can not.
A little help please...
