i have a lot of icons that i cant open on 3.5 . is there anyway to fix them back

Nope, its a one-time conversion and you cant convert it back. It's like how you can't install Windows 2000 with Windows XP as your current OS.

Yes; you can copy/paste the icons piece-by-piece and recreate the 3.5 icon from scratch.
