The best you can do right now is make some sort of datum to handle your lists.

listHandler
    var
        list/contents=list()
        myVar="whatever"
    customList
        contents=list("some","list","of","things")
        myVar="something else"


var/listHandler/customList/myList=new()
world << myList.myVar
for(var/listEntry in myList.contents) world << listEntry


There might be a better way, but this should work for general purposes.

Yea it looks like that is what I'll have to do, I just wanted to avoid having to rewrite stuff.
