So here's what I have after 2 hours of work, but I'm making this post to say I'm dropping out.


With yesterday being as busy as it was, and with what I planned for the game, I just don't have the time to finish it, or even get it to a playable state.

I feel really bad because I wanted to make this really fun and funny, eventually allowing the player to shoot lasers from the birds eye and the grubs would fight back with machine guns and other crazy things.

Ultimately, looking at what I want to release and how much time I have left, it's just not possible.


If I had the day I lost yesterday, I'd probably be able to get it to the state I'd like it at, but at this rate, there's just no way. Especially not with my father constantly calling me over to help him with job applications (I've already lost an hour to this).


I just think that at this point, I'd be wasting my time, and yours by releasing a half finished terrible game that won't even make a blip on your radars.

It reminds me of what happened with my entry "Gravity" on a former competition and how it's lack of completion made me feel really crummy.

Sorry everyone, but I do really look forward to playing the game you guys have worked on and I wish you all the best.

Unfortunately I've been way busier than usual this weekend, so I have not had any time to work on anything. :/

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling too up. I'm not taking the contest too too seriously. If I did then I would probably go insane trying to come up with something extravagant and then failing and then becoming super pissed. But I'm doing this mostly as a programming practice session.

NEedless to say I don't know if I will be able to finish all of this in 4.5 hours, but hey, it's worth a shot.
