I just saw a commercial on TV for Macs, which says that Macs can do fun stuff, like play movies, music, etc. It then claims that PCs can also do "fun stuff", like spreadsheets, graphs, and pie charts.
Um, I don't know if Apple has been paying attention, but PCs can play games.
Macs, in general, can't. =P

But to tell you guys the truth :/ The old macs were much better at graphics processing then current PC's. PC's are much better at word processing, and spreadsheets then Mac's. I believe the PC took off, because you could get a low end usable PC. The only way to really get a lowend mac, is to buy a used one.

New Macs are still many times better for graphical applications, sound engineering, and modelling. But the point is, is that really "fun stuff"? That's more like work. Industrial work, even.
PCs have much more for someone to do, simply due to simplicity of architecture and widespread distribution. No one develops decent games for Mac any more because it's not economically viable, and because the Mac doesn't have any decent APIs. | |

Go to YouTube, you find tons of those Mac vs. PC spoofs on there. I love the ones where MACs get bashed on. It is so true and I don't get why they (Apple) don't show those haha.
