Known as "XVI32" — XVI is the Roman numeral sixteen — this hex editor is a dream come true. I highly recommend it to everyone who doesn't want to fork out cash for a text editor with hex capability. I highly recommend it as a replacement hex editor for anyone who already did fork out cash!
The only sticking point is the lack of a regular expression parser. But only diehards use those anyway.
Another sticking point is that it is made by Christian Maas, no doubt the ancestor of the insidious Maas Corporation in the future, which — as everyone knows — murders Felix Johnston, wrongly imprisons Cal Johnston, and unwittingly sets off the Second Independence War.
