Today is my last day of work here in San Diego. Sunday night, I will be flying back to PA to get a job out there and move out with Jesse. It's something I should have done a long time ago, but it's been difficult assesssing whether or not I could really get a decent job out there to be able to do the things I want to do. In any case, I've got a few things lined up for as soon as I get out there, and there's usually enough tech jobs open for me to be able to get something.

I just got a laptop, but there appears to be some issue with the power adaptor. I get DC voltage from two of the leads coming out of the adaptor, but the connector that fits into the laptop only seems to have continuity between one of the leads and the contact on the inside of the connector. I'm figuring on a DC connector, the outer metal band should still at least have continuity with one of the leads on the other side. Can anyone who knows electronics a little better give me a hand?
