Problem description:
I am making another game currently in developing, LK making RPGs, what do ya think? ;)
anyway, I have no money and this project is going really well and I want to go to indiegogo or kickstarter, also letting my friends play my games without the need of installing BYOND.
is there a way to make a Dream Maker game a standalone? please, I'd really appreciate this help!!!!
yours truly, LK
I think byond has this automatic standalone thing if you pay 100 dollars i think i dont know if its still there.

You can also create your own standalone, kind of--
The easy way to go about it would to be to program it in another language, and to connect the player to the server via passing a url to dreamseeker.exe, which could be thrown in with the installer if you make one. You'll need a bit more experience to accomplish this, though. Edit: Also keep in mind you're not supposed to redistribute fmodex.dll. |
Why would you want to give them that, rather than just a way to play it? And I think there used to be a way to make your game standalone..
