alright I'm trying to host a Dragon Ball Finale server and I have gotten as far as getting my server on the list but nobody can join, and I don't know what to do from here. I have my firewall set to allow all byond applications so that isn't the problem. I'm still new to the whole hosting thing, so can anyone help me out. Please be descriptive with your response. I'm not the smartest with computer stuff.

alright I went there found and found my router. I tried to set it up to the port number, but it lost me at the static i.p. address thing. Can anyone provide some step by step instructions on how I can get my static i.p. address. The port forward thing told me to do things I didn't know how to every now and then so I'm lost. Srry I'm such a nub V_V

start > run > (type in) cmd (hit return)
ipconfig /all this will list all the info about your connection and your ip on the router group. |
Well, there are foolproof methods designed for noobs*!

If you have a router which you most likley do since you have added BYOND as an exception.
open the port on the router that corresponds with the port you are using to host with and that should be it.
