Hello, I'm wanting to host a start of a game to see if people can join the game i host, becasue I set up my router port fowarding for byond to 222, i tried putting in byond://MyIpHere:222 and that didn't work either,
I used the ipaddress that showed up when I went to http://whatismyip.org for the address used.
I set the port on the gamehost to 222, and i want to see if people can join it.
I tried looking it up on the "Live Games" listing here, but it doesn't show up when i look for it, it's like it's not even being hosted at all.
What should i do. I wanna see if my port fowarding was sucessfull. but i can't if i don't even know the game address connect to even be able to tell others about it, since it isn't showing up on the "Live Games" menu.

If you host using Dream Daemon (not directly from Dream Maker), it will tell you your hosting IP address, and it will now also tell you if the Byond hub can connect to your server, so you can see if your port forwarding is working correctly.

Ok, That answers that Question, lol too bas it didn't work becasue Dream daemon says ------------------------------- BYOND hub reports port 1024 cannot be reached by players. A firewall or router may be interfering with your connection. For information on hosting worlds through a firewall or router, please visit BYOND Help or portforward.com. ------------------------------- |
Most likely you are behind a router. Did you Port forward yet?
