Assocating someone with a key

I was wondering if it was possible to associate someone OUTSIDE of BYOND with a BYOND key. Like a way to ask them for a key, and a password, and then it'd send it to the BYOND and verify it was correct, and then I could confirm that they're associated with it.

This is so I can award people with BYOND subscriptions.
Of course, it is related to BYOND.

That would be a security nightmare. Nobody should under any circumstances use their BYOND password anywhere other than our secure site or when logging into the pager.

Doesn't DMCGI have something like this?

DMCGI direct you to the BYOND login page, then it uses the internal hub functions in Dream Daemon to authenticate your login.
