Nice job reading the entire thread postings. He said he'd already done that and that it was still compiling when he woke up.
|
hm i herd that you got the naruto evolution source and if you have that and is also most likely stolen then just like read over it and re do it cleaner but like he said you most likely have bunch of crud that is un needed and it just backs up every thing into one big disater
|
so stop the compile and go through the code again. clean it up, strip it down, make it simpler. a decently programmed fangame should not take more than 1-2 MB at best, not including icons.
|
Yeah, he either isn't clean compiling or he just strung a whole bunch of sources together and hoped to god everything would work out. Guess what! It never does!

Man, 1GB is a lot of space even if he is stringing rips together. I am thinking he might be doing something such as using tons of uncompressed .bmp's.

audio files are mid i like them better they work with my Wii to and i hate converting lots of times to make one thing work.
and i do that with pics |

But seriously, my Half-Life mod isn't even 300MB, and my BYOND sources are about 56k. 1 Gigabyte is simply insane. I don't work with anything that won't compile in less than 5 seconds, and my computer is terrible. Pretty much the only things that take a long time to compile are icon, map, or extremely code heavy games (I'm looking at you, SS13). For it to reach 1g... Wow, just wow. For me, reach 1m is a milestone in a project... |
Besides, .png quality is better than .jpg quality.
BTW, try taking all the images (not icons, just .JPGs/.PNGs) and music out of the project folder, compile the game, and put the files back in when you're done. See if that works. |

i did that it went in but the pics are 60% of game that go in map. Take a screenshot of your Dream Maker window with the file tree on the left so we can better see what the problem might be. ~Polatrite~ |
