Changing a Child's Panes?

Okay, umm, what do I use with Winset to change the left/right panes of a child? Thank you!

winset( mob, childname, "left=[id of window]" ) or
winset( mob, childname, "right=[id of window]" )

MEta, when you say [idofwindow], do I include the [] like I would a variable, or just do the id after the =?
