I would like to use a command to have a box pop up when I go into my menu but this is very confusing... do i need multiple skin files? or should it be placed somewhere extremley small and same color as skin so that I would just have to make it expand and relocate itself. Thank you

You will need another window control. You can set it to initially not be visible and then use winshow() to show / hide it as needed.
