I usually keep up with the latest public betas but now I want to share my creation with others and they don't have the latest version? I can never tell how many are failing to connect because of version mis-matches and I forget that I may be ahead of the curve.

Is there a way to re-compile my game with the officially released BYOND version but without uninstalling my beta version?

You could extract it in a different folder.

You can download the .zip versions of BYOND and just extract them into individual folders somewhere (eg, on your desktop).

That said, there isn't currently a public beta. The latest version of BYOND is 471.1076, which is released on the hub.

Oh. I have 1075. How come we're not being prompted to upgrade?

If you are in fact running 470.1075 (check the "About" box), and the pager isn't prompting you to upgrade, then we have a bug. In that case, report it to the tracker.

I was running 470.1075 and don't recall any update notifications.

I manually updated to 471.1076 without problems. It must be on my end because I've been going to the "Announcements" section to upgrade for a while now which is fine with me. I like to read up on the bug fixes.

I'm sure all is good and that I just don't understand something.
