I would love to get in to role playing. As I always was interested or wanted to try things like pathfinder or d&d. I have seen many rp games on this site but i would like to know is it better to get that board game and book experience or is it no different than playing games on this site?

I'll take this opportunity to shamelessly self plug this. It helps you set up tabletops and other multi-user roleplaying games. It's no-where close to the same experience you'd find with an actual manual and pad of paper, but it comes a little close (hopefully).

I think your role playing hub/game was the reason i wanted to try. that and the fact i have never give it a try
