Help With Skin Problem

Well everytime i make a new window and i make it a lil transparent the game lags alot.
Can someone tell me how to prevent the lag when making a new window kinda transparent? Thanks.

You are warned inside the skin creation that transparency relies on Active X and can cause lag on machines that aren't the most efficient with running it.
