Honestly, with the depletion of common sense nowadays, I cannot discern between sarcasm and seriousness anymore.

Sorry about the slight necro, but I really advise against using that. You'll not find any original work, and while using copyrighted icons usually won't even be noticed by the copyright owner, it's bad form - and if the icons are used in another BYOND game, it can get your game mistakenly classified as a rip.

My own suggestion is to go to DeviantArt or a similar site and ask around for someone willing to do free commissions. If you can't find anyone willing to do it for free, it's pretty easy to make $20-$30.

A bit of additional advice: Wouldn't ask on BYOND, if I were you - a lot of them will charge around $45 per icon, whereas the average DA spriter will only charge the aforementioned price range for an entire spritesheet.

Unless you use a site which has specifically ripped sprites off of copyrighted work, 90% of what you find is up there for grabs.

Or you could just learn how to sprite yourself just a idea

Some people just don't have that affinity for art, such as myself. No matter how much we learn, art just doesn't work with us; graphic art, pixel art, pen&pencil art, etc.

I went through both the Images and Sites a moment ago. Almost every icon sheet listed in the first 10 pages are from a copyrighted game. There are two I found that are not - they're from open-source projects.

Even so, my earlier statement still stands: "bad form - and if the icons are used in another BYOND game, it can get your game mistakenly classified as a rip."
