I can animate sprites and i can icon slighty. But heres the problem, I cant draw for anything and i was wondering if there was a program that can take pictures and pixelate(SP) them. I used GIMP so far but certain pictures its either really small for 36x36 and when i click the edit it looks really blurry. Thx in advance

a friend of mine used an interesting method: Take the picture and reduce it to about 128x128. Then go over the picture and try to make it less blurry. Afterward, reduce to 64x64, repeat, and once again for 32x32. the result is a pretty close rendition of what it would look like as 32x32 if done by some super professional pixel artist. This is basically how I did my base icon. (though I started with a 64x64 icon to begin with.)
