what kind of things do you guys have diiferent for admins than for regular players? just so i can get some ideas.
Ideally you shouldn't have any admins, other than light moderation on what you can't moderate with code. Such as chat filters. No chat filter is perfect, people will always get around it. Give your admins a mute and warn ability. If you have a roleplaying game, you may want some extra things so they can moderate players and the overall storyline.
A spam filter and kick/ban should be all you need. Don't use human moderators unless you get dozens of players a day. If the game doesn't have a chat, you shouldn't even need any admins.

If you're making a roleplaying game, you could consider adding game master commands to allow privileged members to adjust the setting and storyline.

Absolutely, under no circumstances, ever allow players to vote each other out of the game.

There's no need to give anyone but yourself debugging commands such as Edit, Create Object, or Promote Rank.

There's no need to give your friends god powers and slap a moderator rank on them to explain why they have powers.

And remember: it's your game. You decide what powers to give people and how to run it. Just remember to watch your community and figure out what problems they're having, and adjust the game accordingly.
