I am trying to figure out how to host a game and once I do create that what do my friends do to join it?

well, i would go on portforward.com and read the guides for BYOND games. there are plenty of other guides out there on how to set up dream daemon so you can host games- they don't apply to Epic alone, but rather, BYOND games in general :)
