Host Commands, Modes of Play, The works

All this pertians to The Generic Western Shoot 'em up game

What kind of Host Commands would be good to have for the host of a game?

What are some schemes to go about making modes of play? (I have something in mind, but it seems pretty inefficient to me).

Modes:
Team Shoot out
Free For All
etc

This is not really a bump, just didnt want to make a new thread, since its still on the same subject. Its about subscriptions: people keep whining becuase they can't use powerups unless they suscribe. Any thoughts on this?

Note: I have been thinking adding some free powerups

Do the people who want free powerups do anything besides whine? If not, then don't bother with free powerups. If they can't pay you and can't provide you with a pleasant experience, don't serve them. You are under no obligation. They have no right to your game.

Make some negative powerups to give to the whiners.

"Your power has been boosted by -50!"

That usually shuts em up, or makes em leave, and either way you benefit.

Heh is that including my free cheapo subscription you gave me? Either way, Thats still not bad since it hasn't been out that long.
