Well it looks like we're spending an extra day in Paris because the train that we were supposed to take to Venice tomorrow is full. I guess that I really can't complain about being forced to stay in Paris for another day! Becca and I are both coming down with a cold/sore throat, so we're going to take it easy for the rest of the time that we're here.

Last night we watched the huge fireworks display at the Eifel Tower and drank a bottle of wine that we were carrying around with us. It was incredibly cool. Afterwards we ended up having a hilarious conversation with a drunken French guy in broken english for about half an hour before trying to find a taxi in all of the madness (I can't even begin to estimate how big the crowd was, but it was massive).

This weird keyboard is driving me nuts, so that's all for now!
