I am holding a contest before my BYOND dedication departure and the prize will be $20 in BYONDimes, but there is a catch.

The Contest:
->I want someone to develope a fighting game like Mortal Kombat, Bloody Roar, and Such. But to contain characters from all the known BYOND games that lend permission, a bit like the idea of super smash bros.

Rules:
->I would like the graphics to look somewhat professional, but what I am more worried about is the actual gameplay. As I have yet to see a BYOND fighter game. *Of course it would use a sidescrolling method*

->I would like the title to be named something catchy that advertises BYOND within it.

->The game must be playable both 1 and 2 player, with allowing spectators and will be controlled by the keyboard, rather than verbs.

->Each character must have up to 3 possible skill combos, and there has to be more than 8 choosable characters. aside from the top fighter on 1 player, Dantom.

->It must support difficulty ratings based on reaction speed.

The Deadline:
->If you are interested email [email protected] stating that you are entering the competition and all finished games must be mailed as an attachment, they all become my property until judged on Sunday, august 25th.

This gives all of you 2 weeks to build something like this.
It doesnt have to be outstanding, but It must be bugfree and follow a typical fighting game pattern.

If you are unsure about any of these rules, email me at the previous address.

P.S:Yes I am leaving BYOND, but I want my dimes put to some use.

The Dragon Warrior vs. Lord Morte!
The Snow Boarder vs. The Bunni

Good fun!

This is exactly what I was picturing when I posted this.. lol, and it does sound fun plus it is a game type I have yet to see here. And it would be cool if some teams even developed to work on this. :-)
