Since I found it, disregarding that it had no graphics, one of my favorite text muds was DopeWars. It's about buying and selling drugs. It's a really fun game, but I understand that it wouldn't be the best game to show alot of the kiddies that play byond considering it shows how to make money off of drug dealing. I would like ideas on something else that would be just as fun, but without using drugs as the product. What is your thoughts on this?

Love Dopewars, i even have it installed in my college computers!
a good versio that i have is called Drug Lord, and it features a handy graph in the corner so that you can compare the prices from weeks back, then you know whether its worth selling or buying. Ideas instead of Drugs DragonBalls Stocks Hats, Shoes Cheese The best thing you could do is let people choose there own, if you are a subscriber you can choose all the names of the items. None-Subscribers mearly get a list with choices like the above ones and ones from everyone else. But remember would that game of got your attention had it not being about drugs?!? Maz |
Here's an option that people didn't think of:
Commissionwars. You travel door-to-door, selling vacuum cleaners, personal cosmetics, and the like. You have to pay an initial startup fee to suppliers to get more vacuum cleaners, personal cosmetics, etc., and naturally different suppliers in different areas give you cheaper startup fees. |
I would be a door-to-door, door salesman.
Very redundant, but it is an idea. Another idea would be to go door-to-door selling information about the person you are selling too, you could call the game "Blackmail Wars" (Spelling?) Lance ...Guardian of Dragons... |
Just like scooby snacks, it also mean cocane, but that didnt stop the kids food companys from making scooby snacks for kids, CRACK KIDS!

Ah, but that's just a nickname. It doesn't count. :-) Yeah, "heroine" is a female hero. Nowadays you don't see people making distinctions as often (e.g., an actress will be called an "actor", which actually kinda makes sense, since a woman can be called a "chairman") but I have a fondness for the archaic forms -- for example, I would be inclined to call a female garbage disposal "In-Sink-Eratrix" instead of the brand name "In-Sink-Erator". Also, I've heard of cocaine referred to as "nose candy", but I've never heard heroin called "candy". But then, I've never tried either, so I haven't been exposed to the respective subcultures. |
Sim Farm was a cool game. You'd buy a piece of property and you could have either livestock or crops. You'd build fences and gates and water troughs and buy hay for the animals. I think it had sheep, pigs, cows, and horses. There were a bunch of different crops too. Fun game.

If you prefer to go with a less adult-themed version, here are some alternatives to consider:
Candy -- portable; not expensive; not illegal yet
Collectible cards (Magic, Pokemon, etc.) -- portable; semi-expensive; not illegal yet
Endangered species -- semi-portable; expensive; illegal
Sports cars -- not portable; expensive; not illegal yet
