In my DBZ game you will have to RP(roleplay) to get stronger. Mainly RPing fights. The better the RP the stronger you can get(you don't get pl for rping but you are able to get stronger). If the RP is good enough someone would make a Flash movie and animate it and then people could watch the battle or even make whole episodes or even a series. I just wanted to know if you guys like this idea or not. If you need me to ecplain it more i will.

How will the game know if the player is RPing good or not? If its based on how much they type they could just type "h" over and over...Im curious to know how you would accomplish this. Unless the GMs/Mods give them PL when they RP. Oh and I personally think it will be cool if you can pull it off.
It would be cool if you got it too work. Although it sounds more like something you would do on a Message Board RPG then a real time game.

Sounds kool but what happends if all the GMs are offline, the host is AFK, and you are offline? You could have logs..Yeah you should have logs too, cause if you tell players to log it themselves they will edit the log so they get more PL

Then people would just have to wait until one comes on, but this would rarely happen since I will have many who would be able to log it

Of course I'd have logs, how else would the person making the flash animation know what to put.

You can have the game automatically add everything to a world log.
In theory this would be better than any other system. In practice, it would require every single hosted game to have a GameMolester watching every single fight and then doling out rewards afterwards. And then there's the problem of nobody being forced to lose, because it's all "roleplayed," and thus, fights are never resolved, "But wait, just before I die, I go SSJ2352543, which is 3 more than your SSJ level, and I proceed to beat you up!" "But then I go SSJ2352548, and beat YOU up!" and so on. Not only that, but you'll have GMs giving out infinite "PL" anyway, to make people stay in their game. And then, if all fights are based on "roleplaying," then why would you want more "PL" anyway? And if they aren't, then the "roleplaying" would be even more bland than it would be otherwise "I punch you" "I punch you" "I punch you" "I punch you, and you die! I win!".

In short: Average idea, won't work.

Thats why the amount of PL would be determined on the quality of the RP. People would be restricted to RP with their stats and the GM would be viewing those stats. The winner wouldnt generaly get more pl than the loser, so if someone RPs into losing better than the winner RPed into winning than the loser will actually gain more pl. But it wouldnt be pl, it would be pl potential meaning you could raise your pl higher. I'll be sure to have everything worked out before I put it in the game.

I haven't really thought up reasons to get pl but I know there will be more than just to go SSJ and kill noobs.
