A pirate game? Im currently designing a pirate game in the style of blackballline (Because even though lexy wont bring it back, and I only played it for a month or so, it remains my fav byond game), except I want to have it so your a character not a ship, and there is actually towns on islands, you can go on quests, search for treasure, and you and all your buddies can all go on one ship together and sail the seas :p
so anyway, tell me what ya think, would ya play it?

If it was done well. Lex's game, although not finished, had an addictive quality to it.
Be careful with putting multiple characters on the same ship. If you make the ship dependent on multiple players you will not be at your best efficiency unless all the players aboard that ship are online at the same time. |
Ever play Puzzle Pirates?
I would play a game such as that (actually, I already do - see above), but it would really have to be well done to keep my attention. I wish ye luck, matey! |

I think a Puzzle Pirates type game with a more actiony tone to it would be interesting.

Well, I got an idea from another game (A matrix one actually) on how the whole multiple people on ships could be handled. One person, the captian of the ship, steers the ship and actually see the ship like in BBL, but the other crewmates load cannons and fire them, etc when the captian gives the order, and the bullets launch at the other ship.
