As most of you know, there are more DBZ rpgs than they are human races in the world. Meaning, there is a slight lack of RPG remakes in BYOND, and the remakes of most of them(The Sims Online,Runescape,Animal Crossing) are all of a sudden discontinued. Maybe because they noticed it's just like any other BYOND mmorpg, or that the original game didn't inspire them enough to continue.
Of course that's not the same for all of us...
I'm sure a lot of people have ideas for remakes that have never been done before. And yet, if it's a favorite, a lot of people would contribute thier time to it(what,20,30?).
But which one would be the ultimate remake?
The answer would be infinite. Would it be The Elder Scrolls III? Or maybe Everquest? How about Star Wars: KOTOR?
That's why i'm going to see the top 10 most requested BYOND remakes are. There are too many Dragon Warrior/DBZ/Final Fantasy games on BYOND already. It's time for something original.

An original remake? I didn't mean a remake. =) (Yes, I know the thread is about remakes.) |
I think there should be more classic game remakes. I mean, has anyone done Pong yet? C'mon! Pac-Man, Q-Bert, Breakout, Missile Command.
We're slacking here, folks. Shameful. ~X |
What's Q-Bert?
I know, I know, Google is my friend. Shut up, it's past midnight. =P |
Pong has been done twice. Once by Zaltron and again in single tile mini-game format by Flick. Someone needs to learn to use the 'Search' function. Shameful. ;-)

*sweatdrops* I didn't expect that many replies.
AND TO CLEAR SOMETHING UP: By ORIGINAL remake, I mean, a remake that hasn't been done before (maybe one that won't have so many clones (*cough*DBZ*cough*). EDIT: You know, I haven't seen any Tetris or Simcity remakes... |
Yeah, uh, I knew those games were around. ¬.¬ This was all just part of my ingenious plan to raise interest in classic arcade games in hopes of world domination. yes, that's it ¬.¬
And Leftly redid Tetris, sort of, as Fourtris. ~X |
World Domination?? How? Are you going to trap the world population with tetris blocks and erase them.... -_-'

What I mean by that, is one that can keep your interest for more then three minutes... >> ~Chance |
Consider doing this - play lots of RPGs, see how they "do things" and then take a little bit of the things you know they did right, and mix it in with your own ideas and modifications, that's really what we need here on byond.
