Alright I have been working on my new DBZ game Dragonball Benshin 0: Calm Before The Storm for over 3 months now it is about 35% done(I know it doesn seem like much but it is for what I have planned).
I am about to start implementing a Ki-System but Have Not Quite decided which kind to use...
Here are some of my proposed ideas:
A Ki-Level system for individual attacks
like a statpanel with a stat like:
Kamehameha Level: [levelhere]
This system would work with Ki-Training dummies and the higher your ki level, the more damage and less ki it takes to use that attack.
I really didnt have any other ideas so I might go with the clasic Zeta one. Please post input and other ideas so I can make my game better.

You could not do those two, since obviously one is over used and the other is starting to get used quite a bit too. Instead how about you make it so the more someone uses an attack, the more prominent their knowledge is of the skill. You could do it for each individual skill, or in classes of skills. For example, all projectile ki attacks could get better as you use projectile ki attacks. Your punching would become better as you train your punches, or actually punch something. Same with kicks and so on.
