It is certainly possibe in a byond game, but the problem is it would be limited. You could have it check for hostile remarks. and the AI's response would be more hostile. If the person swears alot, the AI would be cautious, and If they swear too much, it start yelling at them.

What is your definition of a "human answer"?
If I asked someone what 2+2 is, I'd think they'd say 4. If I asked a computer what it is, it'd probably say 4. Does that make it AI, since it said the same thing as a human? |

Actually, Let me restate what I said. Too be human, is to make mistake.

No it's not. To be human is to be human, if that makes any sense. The only way to make an AI an AI is to make it exactly like a human: a mind of its own.

Actually, Let me restate what I said. Too be human, is to make mistake. Computers are great at that. Ever play one in an RTS and have it attack the same well defended front over and over? Even the dumbest human player who has never played a real time stratagy will eventually(probably quickly) figure out that that is a dumb idea. |

To err is human
Meaning that to make a mistake means your human. Anyways, I agree. If it is to be actual AI, it should be able to make a decision of its own, not a decision based on actions made earlier. |

To err is human Is that not what everyone does? You don't steal from your parents, because last time you did you got told off. Let's not go into psychology right now, but to learn from your past decisions and make a judgement off that is pretty much good intelligence. It's how all intelligence works. |

*slap himself on forehead for not wording it correctly*
I meant that current AI just repeats back what is done, in a since. Lets see, you go to nearly any AI bot, you say something, and the bot will just answer ti the same way a similar sentence had been answered before unless you correct it and then it will just begin answering that question that way over and over. It does not make a decision based on what works, but based on whatever had been done. |

Oh cheers for that, yeah I knew it was the 40's, but us Brits probably wernt paticularly famous for IT work at the time. I'm pretty sure the original idea was to disguise someones gender though.
