Can people go into more detail?

And Xzdog, I said no DBZ.
Roguelike. Search for 'roguelike' if you want to know what that entails.

And I said what people WANT. Not what you want.

And he said what he wanted people to suggest, not what you wanted to suggest.

Yeah... I know, but we have enough. 4 pages is too many for current status.

Mostly I think people go for RPGs over most other games.

But of those 4 pages... how many are actually worth mentioning as good well put together games?

It still clogs up the system good or bad.
A good RPG(Sorta like Seika and Mystic Journey), and a fun Puzzle game(Sorta like LRS, and Mano A Mano).
Games with lots of exploration and discovery. And plenty of customizability is always nice, too! That way people can create their own things to explore and discover and share them with others, so that you never end up dealing with the same old stuff over and over which takes the fun out of it.

I'm looking for an RPG more versitile than all the rest. Seika 2 just started to touch the amazing game level before they took it off of Byond. All games get repetitive wayy to quickly. If you are designing an RPG(which i highly suggest) things that will grab players attentions and their pocket books are features that follow.

A wide array of skills, like
-fishing
-mining
-engineering
-tracking
-double stabbing
-(one for each weapon)
-stealth
-(every type of magic IE conjuration, illusion, restoration, etc.)
and numerous others that no other RPG on byond offer.

Everquest had a real life feel to it, and thats why MMO's became so popular and so did Seika 2 open testing. People just don't want something they can master in a day. A game with commitment draws nice long playing players.

Story lines that the players could affect would also be nice and interchangeable faction. Lets say two gnoll tribes are at war, you kill one of the to hell and slowly but sure gain faction with the other gnoll tribe. Soon the other gnoll tribe will let you stay with them and not attack them though after you slay so many of their enemies they will actually protect you and sell you stuff. Details in a game like that would drive me into a gaming frenzy.

Also, make it group oriented. No one wants a game where they have to go around leveling themselves. Make that an option but also make grouping a pleasurful experience. Players want to be able to know how much health an ally has easily so they can throw him a heal. Also better grouping could lead to a game where raids on capital cities became very popular. ( just make the guards about as hard as a max level character)

Along with the whole skills idea make it so that if someone wishes to waste all of his points in stealth or something and has no other stats to himself besides his basic leveling ones that he has the right to do that. So whenever he disappears hes gone. Features like this will add character individulization so one person will be known as that one person who insta-back-stab-kills you and others as heavy spell nukers. With concepts like these that are limited people will be urged to start new characters and keep your game alive.

As for the Economy no one likes the buy for 100 gold sell for 50 gold system id like to see a game with an economy that has limited amounts of items that get shipped in every so often so if you play the economy right even from vendors you can make a pretty decent ammount of cash. (just make sure vendor NPCs are tougher than guards)

Those are all my ideas, hoped they helped.
Survival Games. Games like Viridian Room or Crimson Room would be cool...

Or some war games, like Counter-Strike or Ghost Recon.

NOTE: I AM WORKING ON A GHOST RECON GAME. I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON IT SINCE... FOREVER.
I like the game Mystic Journey.. i just wanna create a game like that so that i can be the host xD
