Well, I used to believe you could sprint through games, but I've come to find that's probaly one of the main reason I get drained of motivation so quickly, I'm trying to cram it all at once and I get get tired quickly because of all the work I put into a few days. Now I believe this a marathon, and strong and steady will win the race.

So I was wondering if anyone has any advice, or would like to share things they did to help prepare or keep the motivation.
I havn't finished a game yet, but I havn't givin up either. I find that you won't give up, if you work on it a little at a time. If you work on it for a long time, you get bored and end up scrapping it.

I often find myself doodling on paper of what I'm gonna do next. Art is my motivation, so if I complete what I drew within the game, then I feel that the picture is complete and created. this way seems to work really well for me. Though... I do go through a lot of paper. =\

I couldn't tell you how many games I created that would of been great games. Kind of depressing, I keep telling myself this is going to be the game that gets popular :P
