Is it possible to use the map in the interface file, as a radar, by not using the default action of a map?

We can't use more than one map. However, you can use the grid function, you can draw on the the screen.

And I wish we could use more than one map... It would be so much more useful, but take up a lot of space...

The browser control is very powerful, and can do just about anything. A radar system would probably work very well in the browser with a bit of css and some javascript.
