For Planet Dragonball 2 I want to go huge.
Basically I have some very unique ideas, but im not sure if the BYOND anime players would like them.
Battle:
I want to battle system to work like this- As someone comes into view a small battle menu appears in the bottum left corner of your screen. From there you choose your attacks from the battle menu which will be set up like this: Attack(punch,kick, your basic attacks), move1(could be a ki attack, or whatever you choose), move2(same as move 1), power attack(something like Kamehameha), Special( Something like spirit bomb), Items, and Run. This system isnt sort of a mix between real time, and turn based. Think of it like final fantasy 12's battle system.
Skills:
I think its pretty stupid for the players to be able to get every single move in the game. I think the skill list should be limited to: attack1, attack2, main attack, special.
Of course you will be able to forget moves and replace them once you get tired of them. This also helps reduce cluster, and promotes unique characters.

Final Fantasy 12's battle system was more along the line of Real Time with a delay for magic/attack/etc with very little turn base but thats how I remember it(I havent played it in a while -_-")
