Ok not sure if this should go here but im remaking my map cause it was way to big and to hard to manage (1000x75x8) and I was sure it would cause problems with lag and other stuff later on. But now I cant seem to set my mind on the right size here is the details of the map.

Its based on the Avatar:Last Airbender world
Will be split up into 6 sections plus major towns will have their own section
Same size and shape as the real avatar map so land masses and everything will look the same at a zoomed out view

So right now i changed it to 300x165x6(weird measurement is to match break sections so its easier to make off reference map) for the main part, but it feels too small to me. I thinking of boosting it to around 400x220 or 500x275. What do you think?
Well, the big thing people don't realize about maps is, you need to make them interesting.
Don't just have huge empty spaces, try to make your map more condensed with not a lot of empty areas.

that was actually one of the main reasons why i ended up deciding to decrease the size but now im trying to balance between size, speed (no lag), and plenty of content i think the 300 size is to small but not sure
