I'm taking a survey for my new game and i would like to know if firearms are important in a rpg like game or would people prefer to just slash their way to victory

Any answers you would get are meaningless. Add guns if they fit the setting and can be balanced to provide entertaining gameplay. If they do not or can not, then don't add them
