Alright, so I've been wondering, how many Statistic Points would be preferred per level?
I have, at the moment, Six Attributes:
-Accuracy
-Constitution
-Defense
-Dexterity
-Intelligence
-Strength
So... How many Stat Points would be fine for the Character per level? And, is there a table to this?
Ex:
#of Attributes -- Points Earned/Level
4 3
5 4
etc?
Thanks! :D

There's supposed to be a certain number the stats go up by other than 1 !? D:
I did not know this... And now I do :) Thank you for that information. No, the Stats aren't trainable, they're only increasable through Stat Points which are rewarded per level. ---- Accuracy += 3 Constitution += 6 Defense += 3 Dexterity += 5 Intelligence += 5 Strength += 4 --- Just made it up off the back of my head. I may have to change them due to the affect they can have on the formulas or I may just change the Formulas... |
These numbers are all completely subjective. Without an idea of your gameplay, or any other information about your game (mostly the being able to play it part), this is an impossible question to answer. What I did with my game (which had a similar setup): I picked a random number. Then I let people play, and tell me if it was too easy or too hard. Then I adjusted it until I got something that I believe was the best spot.

if you can train it and you can only raise stats by levelling ,I would say minimum points 3 and maximum points 5 depending on how much of the certain stat you gain per stat point.
