The screen size on the interface is simply 2x the pixel size of the map.
In older versions of BYOND, this looked pixel-perfect.
Nowadays, it just looks very blurry.
Is there any way to make 2x+ look pixel-perfect instead of blurry?

Is map stretching on? If your screen is too small, it'll make it look blurry.

My screen isn't too small for the interface.
It looked pixel perfect earlier today, with my much older version of BYOND, then I upgraded to this newer version, and the map screen is all blurry instead of pixel-perfect. |
Assuming that you have the default skin, run this command:
.winset "mapwindow.map.icon-size=16" |
My interface is this, the map screen is twice the size of the actual map.

Go to the options tab of the map element. Take a screenshot. Show us what the options are.

I have a similar issue when I use 2:1 aspect and hardware decides to not turn on start up. If you go into options and toggle hardware off and on and it fixes itself it's a bug I already reported.
