Removing the ability to type input?

This is probably impossible, but is there a way to hide/disable the text bar? Basically, I need to know if the whole panel with the tabs: 'text', 'browser', 'pager' and 'hub' can be eliminated through code.

This isnt possible to my knowledge, And its a good idea to keep it where you can't eliminate those, because those of who would abuse it.
