What you refer to as "DBZer" is exactly the same thing as people call "Newbies", only they have interest in this anime. Thus both are just annoying childish people, no matter what their likes/dislikes happen to be.

It's kinda the other way around. "DBZer" doesn't refer to people who like DBZ. It only refers to people who like DBZ and are annoying and childish. And since the majority of BYOND fans who are also fans of DBZ are annoying, childish people, we call them DBZers.

I just have to say:We can like DBZ if we want to,and you,yes I mean you can't stop us.Lifes tough huh?Hmmmm,maybe you shouldn't bother anybody else with comments like 'DBZ SUCKS','WHY ARE YOU MAKING A DBZ GAME?','THERES TOO MUCH DBZ GAMES','DROP THE DBZ ISSURE DAMNIT!' Thats all shit.If thats what you want,get a fu*king life!

The DBZ issue can go on and on.And you can't stop us.I like DBZ and you don't,oh well!!!!!!!!Geez,we don't have to like anything you like.If so,Reply to my post and tell me why.So,just shut up.I already know many of my friends that are making DBZ games the aren't released yet(not me).If you don't like DBZers,you make a game get the damn DBZ NAME BLOCKER!

Is it that hard?So what I'm trieing to say is that we like DBZ and we make DBZ games and you can't do anything about it.And Lummox,he likes DBZ,SO WHAT???!!?!?!?!?Hey,all the hating DBZers,why can't we like DBZ?Why don't you want us making DBZ games.I don't want ansewers like:'THERES TOO MUCH DBZ GAMES!','WE HATE DBZ'.Give me a reasonable ansewer.

Did you even read my post? Please pay attention.
There is a conceptual difference between a DBZ fan and a DBZer--by which I mean the stereotypical fan. Most DBZ fans are DBZers, but not all.

I have no intention to force you to stop liking DBZ. I have every intention, however, to mock those who fit the stereotype--because they've earned it.

If you want not to be stereotyped, then you might consider cleaning up your language and actually reading what people post before responding to it. (I would've put a language-related joke in there but couldn't think of one at the time. Pity.)

Just so the dude who sed it knows, a newbie is WAY diffrent from a DBZer. I was a newbie at one time just like everyone, but i never:
1.Riped off someone elses work.
2.Used a pbag
3.Cused someone out just because we have diffrent fealing about a game or show(in byond at least)
4.used a name like TrunksSSJ500_ultra_mega_fighter(and im sure TrunksSSJ499_ultra_mega_fighter and below has been taken)
5.use a screen shot to rip some ripped grafixs that were ripped from another game and so on.
6.Used a power by hit system(like DBZ lvl system)
but i have:
1.Made my own games
2.Made my own grafix
3.Made my own lvl system
4.Tryed to be kind even when some DBZ comes into my game and starts calling it gay becouse it doesnt have any pbags.
5.Wrote code, not copyed everything from the demos area.

See the diffrence??? So dont dare say newbies and DBZers are the same, nost of the time even n00bs are better than DBZers!!!
In response to sapphiremagus
you sould have at least told him what that code means, now he will probly just copy and paste it and than ask a milloin question in the Code problems forum when this is a newbie central post.
In response to Radditz234
i would like to tell you that that dudes code was exsactly what you looking for but you just looking at it as code but now at what its does, let break it down:
var
team1score=0 <-- That sets a WORLD var not a mob so every one can use it!!
mob/Stat()
statpanel("Score")
stat("Team 1:",team1score)
stat("Team 2:",team2score)<--makes the code show up in the stats panel but it doesnt make it a mob verb

mob/verb/Score()
if(usr.team==1)
usr<<"you score a goal"
team1score+=1
else
usr<<"you score a goal"
team2score+=1<-- This one checks your team, he has it to check team 1 first, if you are on team 1 than you get the score(but he made team 2 get it too for some reason.

See its what you need 100% but you did not take time to look at the code as a sentence, you just looked at it as a hunk of letters. Take sometime learning this stuff and you will see code can be changed even if it look like nothing you need.

he said "newbie is to noob as dbz fan is to DBZer" which means that he is not saying anything negative about a newbie, just bad stuff about a noob. but yes i agree with you, a noob is better than a DBZer.
In response to Kappa the Imp
HOLY BLEEP! He never called anybody a newbie, He called them a DBZer and he never referred to any of you in specific.
In response to Loduwijk

The only names named are "Goku123, SuperGohanMajin, and l33tsaiyan" all of which are purely hypothetical. I'm not sure if any of them exist as keys on BYOND, but if they do, none of them are forum-posters.

So... you're saying you're a moron?

Of course, I jest ;). What I mean is that you said that they're so poor, but then state that you wouldn't have realized that they were poor if he hadn't had the title as "Bad DBZ jokes." If he had it as "Good DBZ jokes," you never would've realized that they were poor jokes.

I'm making no sense, am I? Oh well. I'll go back to my corner now.

In response to Shadowdarke
(This covers a response to both Nadrew's reply and Shadowdarke's...)

It is true that SS (I refuse to use the "J" because I use the Americanized word "Saiyan" rather than the Japanese "Saiya-jin"... So to me it's "Super Saiyan" or "SS"... But I digress...) is a different power from flight...

However...becoming a Super Saiyan includes a bit more than just blonde spiky hair and an angry expression... It also includes a huge increase in overall physical power and ki (or "chi" or "qi" whatever you prefer) energy concentration... And in the DBZ world...ki energy is the only thing needed to fly... You simply use it to push yourself off of the ground and propel yourself in whatever direction you wish...

So by becoming Super Saiyans...these individuals gain as a prerequisite to the transformation the ability to use ki energy... And thus, the ability to easily fly...

In the series, even the humans can fly (only the ones who know how to use ki energy)... And it was shown that it can be learned fairly quickly by a complete newbie to ki energy use (who also happened to be a mere human)...

That says that it's an ability that needs to be learned, though... So these guys won't just automatically be able to fly...but they'll have the capability to... And any decent DBZer would easily pick it up... We all know the way it works...lol

Thus...if it were possible for one of us to become a Super Saiyan...it would be a small matter for that individual to fly... (or fire massively destructive energy blasts...but that's another matter entirely...lol)
