"All Quiet on the Western Front by E M Remarque"

Damn good film. :P

Read these:
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (lol racism)
1984 by George Orwell (lol dystopia)
His Dark Materials Trilogy by Phillip Pullman

I'd read the Bible but I don't read much fiction anymore...
I've read a good majority of these, I used to read a lot but now I don't have the time. And Crispy uses Project Gutenbug to huh? Quite a lot of books though barely any of them are mainstream, but good if you read and enjoy it and don't read because "they" told you to.
i have read all of those except the bible

..... wow.
Afg, you have WAY to much time on your hands my freind...
I read the Bible and His Dark Materials.

Yikes.
I'm surprised Fahrenheit 451 didn't make the list.

I'm pretty sure I've read that book more times than any other (listened to it as an audiobook also).

The His Dark Materials trilogy was alright, but the ending was aweful and left me with a strong sense of disappointment

Really? I liked it. It was a bit odd, but I can hardly hold that against it. :-)
