I burned a Ubuntu 6.06 disc at work on Monday, and took it home. It was love at first install. (even though I did reinstall it a second time) Ran into a little trouble getting the nvidia drivers to work, but I just didn't know what I was doing. A little help from DasFalke, and now I've got 2560x1024 dual head.

For those of you considering Linux, WINE does run BYOND, at least on mine. The hang up seems to be with DreamSeeker's output. This actually doesn't pose that big of a problem for me, since I use alternatives to the output window for the most part in my new games. (HTML, on-map text) I don't know if any plans are in the works for a solution to this, but it'd sure be great if we could have fully functioning graphical BYOND in Linux!

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm pretty new to Linux, but I'd like to see what else it can do.
DreamSeeker runs under Cedega Wine. Took a couple minutes to get it started but it works.

So it finally has a name now? Invasion?
Haha, oops, no, that's not it's name, just a temporary name, and you didn't see that
They shipped me 5 free CD's before. I've yet to install it. I need to put a hard drive in my target computer before I do.

- By the way, nice CSS!
Love how the guy in the combat suit is sticking out his butt. >_>

Hope you get that linux stuff worked out.
