What's out:
  • Haven's isometric system. This was the major source of a lot of the game's difficulty to develop. I can still be unique in my ideas without trying to hack in an engine into a system that pretty much refuses to meld well with it.
  • What's in:
  • I wouldn't actually know; I don't hang with the in-crowd.

I dunno, *snickering* is much better than *milky waying*. The second one tends to get you slapped.

Milky way == Worst Name To Call Your Galaxy

I mean seriously, what were they thinking?
Yeah, this galaxy should be named after a white substance that is secreted by a dumb hunk of meat on this tiny planet.
Yeah, iso just isn't worth the trouble with BYOND. You can create a game just as fun without iso and save time as well as processing power.

Sure, it's fun to look at considering BYOND wasn't made for iso, but it's just not practical yet. Might as well not use BYOND and just go create a 3D game.
