Could we have support for more than .tff files for skin elements? .fon formatted files are so much better at maintaining bitmap fonts than .tff files are, and that's why I'd prefer to use .fon files than .tff files for my skins.

Bumping, this would be appreciated and doesn't sound all that infeasible.
With a default resolution of 32x32 bitmap fonts (.fon) can look much nicer and cleaner than TrueType (.ttf). |
That's probably doable for DS, but I don't think .fon files would ever be webclient-friendly. I'm planning to add TTF/OTF support to the webclient, as well as WOFF.

Thanks Lummox! Bitmap fonts are just so much cleaner for use in interfaces.

I should clarify: Although using .fon files is probably doable in DS, I have no immediate plans to add it. If anything that'd be adding a new feature that DS can use that the webclient can't, which I really would rather avoid. It makes far more sense to me to up the webclient's game by allowing it to handle embedded fonts.

Also, can we work on getting fonts less "fuzzy" when scaled up?
