Hey guys. Been a looong time since I've seen this game. I used to host it back when it was Mitadake.
Just put up a server. For the time being, it will be purely Death Note. That is subject to change. If all goes well and we get some users, I'll assign some mods to keep the server running smoothly for as long as possible. Further, if we get a good little playerbase, I'll keep it up 24/7. For now it's just a bit of a dry run. Hope to see ya' in game. | |

I need to clarify this because it's not OK, and I am about to poke their eyes out(a player on a server who just made me lose my temper).
Death Note: It says in the game guide that Kira kills criminals, but that's a brief description of the anime. In the role description it says your goal is to kill everyone in the school. Power gaming: You are power gaming if you are automatically saying that Kira only kills criminals. You're not Kira, nor should you say he only kills criminals because Kira can kill who ever he wants and they may not be criminals in the first place. Kira can decide that he never killed a criminal. So, I think it's best if you not power game Kira. Please and thank you. Just note this is not the anime, this is a DN RP where everything is going ot be different. IT doesn't say that Kira is Light. Kira can be who he wants and kill anyone who he wants in the RP. -Logic- | |
Actually, the exact quote from the role description is...
"In your possession is a supernatural notebook that will kill anyone whose name you write in it, so you've taken it upon yourself to create a new world by killing anyone who commits a crime." The last bit of which probably means that Misuterii's Kira is a criminal killer. Said role description only hints at killing the rest of the students being a good idea as well. As such, it's not really powergaming to assume Kira kills criminals (or even only criminals) as a character. It just means that it's heavily implied that only the criminal deaths are known to have been attributed to Kira publicly thus far. It's closer to powergaming to make the assumption that Kira's killed someone who isn't a criminal, save for the two roles that know the truth at the start of the game (Kira and the detective). That said, even that's a fairly reasonable assumption to make, since someone with Kira's kill record is bound to have accidentally slipped a few "isn't actually guilty"s in there. | |
