You probably meant playerbase. And no. Just because you're terrible at following rules and that gets you banned, doesn't mean everyone else is and will get banned.

Ninth Royal. I believe it was you who banned me for...Well saying that in a real life situation I would eat the teachers dead body. I'm sorry. Pwease unban me.

No. Direct anymore questions to the complaint box. *points to a conveyor belt aimed directly at a grinder*

Now, now. I am sure that complaining in this thread is not helping your cause. You should contactthe host of the server you are banned from via the pager and ask politely if you wish to be unbanned.

You all need to stop telling him what to do. Let Meta or Kamuna tell him. Don't take over Meta/Kamuna's job. Comments are their turfs.

Welcome to my guide for getting unbanned, and avoiding bans!
I've been playing since '08, back in the good(?) ol' days of Mitadake High. As a former noob that occasionally got banned like yourselves, and knowing people that also got banned, I have a few tips and tricks for getting unbanned, and to prevent being banned to begin with. Lets start! The following techniques are confirmed to NOT WORK when you wish to be unbanned: Begging to be unbanned Whining about being banned. Harrassing the moderator or host that banned you. Insulting the host or moderator that banned you. Posting publicly with a request to be unbanned. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX NOW... You're banned, and you want to be unbanned. Here are a few tricks, that whilst not guarenteed to get you unbanned, at the very least will give you a chance. It also depends on what you did to get banned, whoever banned you, and whether you've been banned from their server previously. So. Send a single, polite message to the person that banned you. If you don't know why you were banned, ask that first. Next, apologise for what you did, write a good reason why you think you should be unbanned, and ask if you might be unbanned. If you're unsure who banned you, then send this message to the host of the server If they say no, thank them for their reply, and do not send any further messages. If they say yes, then see the last section, 'How to avoid being banned' for tips to avoid this predicament in the future. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX So, you asked to be unbanned, but your request was declined, and thus you remain banned. But it's not the end of the world! Now that you're staying banned for the forseeable future, it's time to: Find a new server! I doubt the server that banned you is the only server around. If it is, start your own, which usually involved port forwarding. There are a multitude of guides for this online, just use google. If you absolutely cannot host a server or join another one, then the only option is to find another game. There are quite a few games on Byond, particularly RP games. Go on and jump in! After a few months, if you feel that you will not repeat your offence and have suitably learned your lesson, you might try appealing again. Of course, by that point, the server that banned you is probably gone, regardless. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX So, you're not currently banned, and you want it to stay that way. Tips to avoid being banned: Respect your host, the moderators, and your fellow players. If you're new to RP, go to functions and choose 'Don't give me roles!', because the different roles can be difficult to do if you're new, and it can ruin a RP or anger other players if you don't know what you're doing. Get used to the controls and gameplay and RPing as a non-role first, then branch out when you're more comfortable. Make sure to ask questions if you're unsure. Always obey the server rules and directions from the Host or moderators. If the server has no defined rules, then the following are good to follow. In fact, I follow these regardless of the server, unless it directly conflicts with their server specific rules. Rules: 1. Don't attack or kill without a reason. (RA/RK) 2. Don't hoard items. (IE, 4 Bats, 5 Med Kits, etc.) 3. Don't use chatspeak or emoticons in IC. (IE, "I wuv u <3") 4. Don't post IC information in OOC, unless it relates to a RA/RK. And if you see IC in OOC, don't Meta. 5. Emote when you attack. 6. Don't cyber/ERP. (This can get the entire game banned from byond, not just you.) 7. Be respectful, say please and thank you, and just in general don't be an idiot. Thank you for reading my guide to getting unbanned or avoid being banned to begin with. I hope some of you can use your brains and make use of it. |
BYOND will not ban/unlist a game if there's ERP/Cyber.
There's a game that shows sex called Dragon Universe. The server that gets most players is there to be silly, it just ends up having people. |
From this point on, I will delete any message that relates to one specific server (as apparently some people cannot read) and not the game, no matter what it is about (even if you're just helping), thank you.

Items that warrant such action include, but are not limited to: pornographic, racist, or otherwise vulgar content. As a game posted on their website, Misuterii High, it's players, hosts, creators, etc, must all abide by the ToS. Now, as BYOND staff probably aren't going to go and stalk every round of every server, action would take place by a user reporting it to the BYOND staff. You may think 'Oh, but no-one will ever bother to do that', but all it really takes is one banned person reporting it out of spite to have the game removed. Besides, there are also many underage players and it is incredibly tasteless to foist 18+ content onto them. Heck, even as someone who is over 18 I find that kind of content tasteless. And as for Dragon Universe I cannot comment because I have never played it. |
You're confused.
It does not mean the game itself. It means on its hub. They could careless. The reason why a lot games cut that out is because most BYONDers are like 12. |

The host does get to decide who to ban/unban however they let (key word) the minihosts have the same power as them and act in their stead.
If you think a minihost has abused their position then contact the host and let them deal with it rather than complaining about it being a bad idea. |

Not complaining, just giving my opinion. There's a difference you don't see. Seems no one is allowed to say their opinions anymore. Edit:Think about a King and a Prince/Princess.The Prince, while having a higer position than the "normal people",has limitations in what they can do (Host-Minihost relation). Also, this is "supposed" to be the Comments Section, where people post their ideas, opinions and etc (complaining included),so what you said at the end doesn't means anything. |
Just an FYI, originally the only one who could ban a player was the host, through Dream Daemon's ban system. Minihosts could only kick players from the round and mute them.
It was requested that a ban verb be implemented into the game itself and that minihosts could have access to it and so that's how that happened. |
