I am currently really annoyed. This program, which I believe is surf side kick keeps sending adds to my computer. Spybot can't delete it, and I can't delete it manually either because it is always runing. I can't be bothered going into safe mode to delete it either. I was wondering if anyone has any ways to delete it, as I have no idea where it has come from, and it is annoying me like hell!
There's only one way I can think of. Go to start>run>type "cmd" and in there, type format c:

Of course, all your files will be deleted >_<
I would rather delete it in safe mode.
ADT, when you get infected by really nasty spyware like SSK, you have little choice but to investigate or delete it in safe mode or MSDOS.

And the longer you let it run, the more likely another nasty syware program will infect your computer because of SSK.

I had Surf Side Kick before. Most likely, it's going to be hiding in your \windows or \windows\system folder under a .dll filename. You have to go into either safemode or MSDOS to delete it, depending on if it's still running in safe mode.

The .dll isn't always the actual program, however; you may have to clean out all of the other crap it's installed on there (including the other parts of it), then delete the .dll. Usually, spyware .dlls aren't the actual programs... They are what redownloads the program when you clean it off your computer and it's what is always on at startup.

Downloads I suggest: Proc explorer, Hijackthis
