In response to Garthor
1. It's my only coding that I'll be doing
2. I have no idea what's causing the runtime error.
In response to TARDIS
That's why you do step 1 first.
In response to Garthor
no, htis is what YOU do
Sort out the code.
In response to TARDIS
You seem to think we're your own personal servants that will jump to your will. That's funny. Hahahaha.
In response to Popisfizzy
Can you tell me how to sort out the error then?
In response to TARDIS
Hazman already told you the prime cause in [link]
In response to GhostAnime
why don't you sort out the problems then? I can't understand what he's talking about.
In response to TARDIS
Why don't I? Simple, it's not my problem but yours. You are jumping in to an ocean without checking for the presence of any sharks, the strength of the tides and without having any swimming lessons (in other words, you do not know what you are doing other than going along with the (bad) flow).

If you want to get to the cause of why you are getting this error, look up what "usr" actually is in the DM Reference and it is not the player in most cases.

Beware of usr: http://www.byond.com/members/ DreamMakers?command=view_post&post=35932
In response to GhostAnime
I STILL can't understnad it. you need to sort it out manually.
In response to TARDIS
If you can not understand that, why did you become a programmer - even if it is for a private server like you said?

It would help if you explained what exactly don't you get...

If worst comes to worst, just take out what you programmed in and put it back in later when you understand...

But I'll be somewhat nice... if you can explain me what usr actually is (in your own words, not plagiarizing! :P) and why you think the main cause of usr not being defined, I can help explain and give you solutions to your problem.
In response to GhostAnime
that's not fair I'd never understnad what it is
and Mos of that's the RoH source code!
In response to TARDIS
... Did you even bothered to read the links I gave or looking up what usr is in the DM Reference?

Here's a hint after you read what it is... and if you do not understand - than I suggest that you stop programming for a few years. Find out what usr is and think "If this object is created indirectly how can my program know what usr is?". After that, try looking for an alternative to see if the object is in a certain type, such as something similar to checking what "usr.loc" is and checking the "usr.loc.contents" (note that using usr will attempt in the same error, you need to replace usr with a certain other variable).

Anyways, I am no longer going to bother with this topic - if you are unwilling to learn, why should I be willing to teach which helps you in the long run?
In response to GhostAnime
I agree with GhostAnime. It's either learn to code or ask people to do it for you, which obviously didn't work very well.
In response to GhostAnime
This is the only thing I'm doing, making my own personal RoH mod.
In response to Oasiscircle
why bother iwth learning to code? I'm not going to be making a game of my own!
In response to TARDIS
That's pretty obvious.

You don't seem to get what's going on here: we have already shown you the peg, what the shape of the peg is, what the wrong hole you're trying to put it in is, and which is the proper hole for the peg. Now you want us to put the bloody peg in for you!? I don't think you are aware that we tell you how to fix your own damned problems and that is it. We are not going to program something you don't even understand in the least and just let you go on your merry way. If you don't want to do it yourself, don't mess with someone's source. If you don't get it, hire a programmer to do it.

It's as simple as this: No, we won't fix your bloody problem when we told you how.
In response to TARDIS
If you want to modify code, you must learn coding or hire a coder. If you don't want to learn coding, then recruit someone in the classifieds section. You may find someone good if you pay enough.

Otherwise, just modify the icons or the map or something.
In response to Traztx
that wouldn't have helped in this case, it was the null lines, and tehy were already in the code
